Adorama Rental Company provides repair services for professional cinema camera lenses only, performing non-warranty repairs for customers across the United States. We currently do not service photo DSLR lenses.
Our repair lab, located in Brooklyn, is fully equipped to service Angenieux, Cooke and Sigma lenses. Our technician can provide a complete overhaul which includes disassembly, cleaning, lubrication and providing optical adjustments of your cinema lens.
REPAIR SERVICES:
- Complete overhaul of the entire lens which includes cleaning and re-lubrication of all moving parts (CLA)
- Cleaning of all optics
- Optical alignment which includes optimizing the lens performance throughout the entire range and center tracking on all zoom lens
- Replace of all elements (internal and external glass)
- Replacement of all internal/external parts (iris, focus and zoom scale rings)
- Test Projection

After the work is complete and with final payment, we will ship your equipment back to you.

Adorama Rental Company has one location in Brooklyn for equipment rental services.
We will accept drop-off at both our locations at 50 West 17th, Manhattan and 370 19th Street, Brooklyn.
Please send in your lens in proper case with appropriate padding with a secured hard-shell case. ARC will provide a shipping form for you to use to send in your lens to our facility. Please make sure it is insured for the proper value of the equipment.
You need to submit your request with detailed information on the form. Our lens technician will give you a preliminary estimate, but you are required to send your lens to our facility to get a final quote. If the estimate is approved, we require a credit card for payment to begin repairs.
If the estimate is refused, there is a refusal fee we charge for the bench time that was put into the equipment. Refusal fees vary depending on equipment.
Repairs vary in length in time, and subject to parts availability from manufacturers. Our lens technician will give you a time estimate during the diagnosing process and on the final quote.
We repair digital cinema lenses for brands including Angenieux, Cooke, Sigma, ZEISS and more. We do not repair DSLR lenses. Please submit your request on the form to inquire about specific lens.
