Versatile monitoring and full camera control
The CCM-1 is a 7" onboard monitor that provides full camera control and menu access for the ALEXA 35 and ALEXA Mini LF. Opening up new camera configuration possibilities, the CCM-1 combines ARRI color accuracy and a bright display with customizable controls and rugged build quality.

A new way to operate
For camera operators who prefer to judge framing and exposure with an onboard monitor rather than a viewfinder, the CCM-1 is an easy choice. It provides an alternative control, menu, and image interface to the MVF-2 viewfinder, which it can either replace entirely or work alongside, and it does so without using up one of the camera's SDI outputs.

Bright display with color-accurate ARRI image quality
The CCM-1 displays a bright, high-contrast HD image on its 7" IPS LCD screen that is easily viewable in daylight from a range of viewing angles. Like the tried and trusted MVF-2, it connects via the camera's VF connector and provides an image that faithfully conveys the accuracy and subtlety of ARRI color management.

Sensor-level monitoring functions make use of the sensor's full resolution, for example zooming into the image for more accurate focus checking. Tools on the CCM-1 such as false color or peaking are much more user-friendly than on standard SDI-connected monitors because they affect only the image from the camera, and not the status overlays.

Status components
A live image with interactive status components allows quick access to the most frequently adjusted settings. Changes occur in real time and can be viewed live instead of having to switch between a menu and the image.

Home screen
The familiar ARRI home screen has been updated for the larger CCM-1 display and shows all relevant camera information at a glance. Touching one of the five main exposure parameters will take users to a live image where they can make adjustments with a real-time preview. On the left is an overview of the user button assignments.

Camera menu
The CCM-1 provides access to the complete camera menu for adjustment of any and all camera settings. The menu can be controlled via the touchscreen or physical buttons and offers the same, intuitive layout as the MVF-2.

Playback control
Improved playback control is accessed via the menu or a user button. An extended clip list can be viewed during playback and includes a handy metadata display.

Physical controls and mechanical support
The flexible user interface of the CCM-1 is perfectly suited to professional environments. All functions are adjustable via the touchscreen or via buttons and a joystick that are positioned on one side of the monitor and can be operated with one hand, leaving the other hand free.

User buttons
Four user buttons allow personalized settings, while the dedicated menu button provides fast access to the camera menu, which is identical to that of the MVF-2.

Audio jack and USB
A 3.5 mm TRS audio jack output allows headphone monitoring with the same functionality as the MVF-2. A new USB connector, combined with a USB-to-Ethernet adapter (available separately), allows camera control of the ALEXA Mini LF when also using an MVF-2 simultaneously.

USB-C slot
A covered USB-C slot for firmware updates, frame grabs, and look files. It accepts the same USB-C stick as ALEXA 35, which can remain inserted under a weather-sealed cover during operation.

Easily replaceable mounting interface block
The CCM-1 features ARRI Pin-Lock 1/4" mounting points on the bottom, rear, side, and top. The two most frequently used are situated in a user-replaceable steel mounting block, in case of excessive wear-and-tear.

Viewfinder Adapter VFA-4
The VFA-4 enables mounting of the CCM-1 to standard ARRI viewfinder brackets without tools, and comes with inserts for ARRI Pin-Lock and SmallHD mounting standards. A folding mechanism allows quick repositioning and flat storage.

Monitor Arm for Camera MAC-1
The MAC-1 features an adjustable friction system for one-handed repositioning of the monitor, as well as inserts for different mounting standards.

Multiple connection options for greatest flexibility
By using the camera's VF connector, the CCM-1 leaves both SDI outputs free for other uses. VF cables of up to 10 m in length are supported, providing flexibility of operation for tight spaces, cranes, dollies, and car rigs. The CCM-1 can alternatively be connected via SDI like a normal onboard monitor, allowing use with legacy ALEXA, AMIRA and third party cameras, with full access to the SmallHD toolset. Multiple other connection options facilitate different camera configurations and use cases.
