RENT IB/E Optics PLx1.4 Mark II Extender Features
The PLx1.4 Mark II Extender, engineered and manufactured by IB/E Optics, increases the focal length of any compatible PL mount lens by 1.4 times, with only a one-stop reduction in light transmission. Utilizing high-index, low-dispersion glass and a system optimized to reduce flare, it ensures outstanding image quality with minimal optical compromise.
Alongside its focal length boost, the PLx1.4 Mark II also expands the lens’s projected image circle. This makes it possible for many standard 35mm format prime and zoom lenses to fully cover the RED DRAGON sensor's 6K frame.
Designed specifically with modern digital cinema cameras in mind, the PLx1.4 Mark II is optimized for systems that benefit from telecentric lens characteristics.
