RENT Atlas Lens Co Mercury Full Set Kit - 1.5x Anamorphic - 24mm,36mm,54mm,72mm,138mm(PL) Mount Features
Mercury Prime: A Classic Anamorphic Aesthetic
Created by cinematographers for professional filmmakers, the Mercury 36mm T2.2 1.5x Anamorphic Prime is part of Atlas Lens Co.'s compact and lightweight Mercury Series. These lenses deliver native full-frame coverage, smooth oval bokeh, near-zero chromatic aberration, and a warm, vintage character that’s softer than the Orion series. The ARRI PL-mount lineup currently includes 36mm, 42mm, and 72mm primes, with 54mm, 95mm, and an upcoming telephoto focal length in development.
1.5x Vintage Anamorphic Character
The Mercury 36mm produces a 1.5x horizontal squeeze while maintaining the vertical field of view of a comparable spherical lens. It delivers a classic anamorphic aesthetic with golden flares, gentle barrel distortion, and minimal chromatic aberration. Anamorphic Performance in a Compact Build Mercury lenses offer the signature oval bokeh, shallow depth of field, and pleasing distortion associated with Atlas Orion 2x anamorphic primes-yet in a body that’s roughly half the size and weight of most professional anamorphic lenses. This compact form factor reduces operator fatigue and allows for more dynamic, close-up shooting.
ARRI PL Mount Compatibility
Designed for professional cinema workflows, the Mercury series is fully compatible with ARRI PL-mount cameras.
Full-Frame Sensor Coverage
Each lens in the Mercury series provides coverage for full-frame camera sensors.
Fast T2.2 Aperture
With a bright T2.2 maximum aperture, Mercury anamorphics perform exceptionally well in low-light environments.
Cine-Style Construction
The Mercury lenses feature industry-standard 0.8 MOD focus and iris gearing, a 95mm front diameter, and focus markings in feet. The standardized front diameter ensures compatibility with a wide range of matte boxes and filters.
