The Mic 2 is ready to use straight out of the box. It automatically powers on as you open the charging case, which also automatically pairs the receiver and transmitters while charging them. The case contains both USB-C and Lightning adapters, providing hassle-free setup with your preferred recording devices.

The receiver connects to your camera via a 3.5mm TRS cable and synchronizes its power state with that of your camera, ensuring a seamlessly synchronized audio recording experience. The Mic 2 boasts a wide range of compatibility options, including USB-C and Lightning digital outputs, as well as 3.5mm TRS analog output. It's compatible with cameras, smartphones, computers, or tablets, and offers stereo functionality for iPhone and most Android mobile phones.

The Mic 2 features a 1.1-inch OLED touchscreen and a precision dial for swift access to vital information and precise adjustments to parameters like gain, volume, brightness, and more. The screen displays real-time recording volume, battery levels, charging status, wireless signal, gain, and channels.

The transmitters feature a user-friendly clip-on design with a magnetic snap for easy attachment to clothing. They can record audio independently or combine them into a single track, simplifying multi-source recording and enhancing efficiency during post-production.

Each transmitter has 8 GB of internal storage to store up to 14 hours of uncompressed 48kHz 24-bit audio.
