RENT TLS Petzval Prime FF 2-Lens Kit with 58mm T2.1 and 85mm T2.3 Lens, PL Mount

Originally developed by Joseph Petzval in 1840, the 58mm and 85mm Petzval prime lenses were among the first lens designs to be calculated using mathematical principles. Celebrated by both photographers and scientists, these lenses gained renewed popularity when Lomography reintroduced them through a successful Kickstarter campaign, featuring distinctive brass housings with Canon and Nikon mounts. TLS has since adapted the Petzval design for professional cinema use, rehousing them with cam-driven, geared focus and iris rings, along with robust stainless steel PL mounts. Ideal for stylized portraiture, these lenses deliver sharp central focus surrounded by the signature swirling bokeh characteristic of the original Petzval optics.
