The Soviet Rehoused MKI lens set is a meticulously engineered modernization of classic Soviet optics, offering vintage character in a robust, production-ready housing. Each lens in this series has been rehoused with a brand-new mechanical design, featuring modern cinema lens ergonomics while preserving the unique optical signature that has made these lenses so sought after. Covering Full Frame and Large Format sensors, this set is ideal for high-end digital cinematography where distinctive rendering, smooth focus transitions, and warm vintage tones are desired.
These lenses feature completely redesigned internal mechanics, including a reliable internal focusing system that maintains overall lens length during operation, making them fully compatible with clip-on matte boxes. The improved housing offers 300 degree of precise focus rotation, shimmable stainless steel PL or EF mounts, and dual-scale markings (imperial/metric). Each lens boasts a 95mm outer diameter front and a beautiful 15-blade round aperture, delivering smooth, cinematic bokeh.
